For a baseline assessment, we’ll meet to learn more about the way your business operates, then create a report comparing where you are now to cyber security best practices using NIST CSF 2.0. For a risk assessment, we’ll work through the systems your organization relies on for your critical operations, then make a note of any major threats to those systems by creating a risk register, so that you can make informed decisions about the threats to your environment.

Ongoing (Hourly) Cyber Security Management

Pricing: $40 / hour, billed monthly
This service is designed for part-time cyber security support in your environment. Choose how many hours per month you would like, and we’ll assist your operations accordingly. This includes things like policy creation and review, monitoring of digital security systems, and an ongoing effort to reduce risk.

Penetration Testing
Summary: perform a non-disruptive test of your cyber defenses through red-team security exercises
Pricing: small businesses: $600, or $40 / hour, upon completion
Penetration testing is the authorized hacking side of cyber security: it measures how well your existing defenses actually work when exposed to attacks, and the potential scale of damage if an attack is successful. We’ll meet to discuss which systems are part of the test and what to expect, then begin attempting to discover and exploit any vulnerabilities in a “black box” test of those systems. Afterwards, you’ll receive a report of what we tested, what we found, and suggested strategies to improve any weak areas.

Security Awareness Training
Summary: Conduct a training covering cyber security topics, designed for non-technical staff members
Pricing: $125 / session per 50 attendees, upon completion
Many organizations are required to have annual security awareness training, but even if you aren’t, it’s still a great way to help protect your business, because it turns every employee into part of your cyber security defense. We’ll begin with a pre-assessment quiz, then host one or more training sessions at your location, and conclude by performing a post-assessment to report improvements. We’ll also provide a certificate stating that the training was completed.

Security Hardening
Summary: actively remediate specific vulnerabilities and implement solutions to address specific risks
Pricing: $40 / hour, upon completion
Security hardening is the next step after completing an assessment: we’ll discuss which issues you would like to address (such as those described in one of our assessment reports), what options your business is looking to implement, and then get to work. You’ll receive a report at the end detailing all the work completed.

Vulnerability Scanning
Summary: perform an assessment of the selected hardware, software, and systems currently in place in order to locate any vulnerabilities
Pricing: small businesses: $600, or $40 / hour, upon completion
Security scanning is key to making sure your data is safe, it is the process by which active vulnerabilities are searched for and reported. We’ll meet to discuss which systems need to be scanned, and then begin a “white box” scan of your environment, documenting any discovered issues in a vulnerability map, along with our rating of their severity.

This service is designed for part-time IT support in your environment. Choose how many hours per month you would like, and we’ll assist your operations accordingly. This includes things like device configuration and deployment, printer issues, network connectivity, and general troubleshooting.

Technology Services Implementation
Summary: bring a new system online or handle a major project
Pricing: $30 / hour, upon completion
This option represents a one-time project, such as configuring a new system, implementing a third party service, or handling a major software upgrade. We’ll meet to discuss your specific needs and what your end goal looks like, and then get to work. You’ll receive a report at the end detailing all the work completed.

Other Fees / Terms
- “On-call” services: the hourly rate changes to the relevant “ongoing” rate for hours worked while called in, rounded to the nearest half hour. All charges as part of these services increase by 100% for nights (7pm – 7am) or weekends (Saturday and Sunday). Calls must be made using pre-established means of communication. If multiple calls are received at once, they will be responded to in the order received. We agree to make our best reasonable effort to respond in a timely manner, but cannot guarantee a specific time frame.
- Positive review discount: receive 10% off the price of one service if, after service completion, you provide a positive review and agree to allow Pyxis Cyber Solutions to use your company’s name and/or logo associated with your review. The review must be provided within thirty days of the date of the invoice for which the discount is requested.
- Referral rebate: receive 25% off the price of one service if you refer another client who signs up for at least one service. The new client must list you as their referrer and sign up for a service within thirty days of the date of the invoice for which the rebate is requested. Does not apply to “ongoing” or “on-call” services.
- Small businesses: for services listed in this catalog, a “small business” is one with fewer than 50 employees
- Travel charges: for services provided which require more than ten miles of driving from the service provider’s home address (as determined by Google Maps), additional travel charges will be added at a rate of $0.76/mile for miles driven as part of providing services. You will be notified if travel charges apply to the requested work, and you may request a log of mileage billed for, at any time.
